As the generation that will live through the worst impacts of global warming, it is time to stand up and demand action. And what better place then on campus!
Colleges and universities are leading the way in the fight against global warming. Students inventing the newest clean energy technologies, designing the most efficient green building, and pushing state and local policy. And you can too!

JOIN THE CAMPUS CLIMATE CHALLENGE
The Campus Climate Challenge is the national campaign against global warming. Sponsored by the Energy Action coalition, the Campus Climate Challenge is a campaign to bring clean energy to campuses across the country and set ambitious goals to make our schools leaders in the fight against global warming.

1 The Greening of America's Campuses
Nationwide, more than 110 colleges have built or are building structures certified by the United States Green Building Council, a nonprofit group that promotes construction and designs that meet high standards of energy efficiency.

"Major social changes start with a shift in philosophy, and then a new generation is born with that at their core," said Josh Tulkin, 24, who works for a group focused on climate issues in the region outside Washington, D.C., and also for a network of youth organizations called SustainUs. "That generation is us.
