Testify against the Wise County Coal Plant - Jan 8th
On January 8th - TELL THE STATE CORPORATION COMMISSION:
“NO WISE COUNTY POWER PLANT!”
Right now, Dominion Power is trying to get its permit, and we need to say no! In order to build and operate their proposed Wise County Power Plant (which the Richmond Times Dispatch says will be "one of the dirtiest in Virginia") Dominion must get permits from the State Corporation Commission (which regulates power companies in Virginia).
The SCC is considering their permits, and they are accepting public comments. We need to tell the SCC that Virginians want clean energy, not new coal.
