The May 8 delivery of the mile-long petition against Dominion's coal plant was a huge success. Now, the permitting process of the coal plant is moving to the Citizen Air Pollution Control Board and we have an opportunity to voice our opinion's about Virginia's need for a clean energy future. Come spend a "Weekend in Wise" with us to help fight Dominion's dirty coal plant by speaking out at the Air Board public hearing (Air Board Agenda). Join us for mountaintop removal site tours, local music, service projects, and a chance to enjoy the best of Wise County. Register Now! If you can't attend, we are looking for sponsors for some of our volutneers who can't afford to buy a hotel room, or pay the price at the pump to voice their opinion at the Air Board. If you can, please make a donation to make that possible. For more information, please contact Antigone Ambrose at antigone@chesapeakeclimate.org.
