Energy Policy FOIA Fellowship

Want to use your skills to help the movement for clean energy? How about using them to catch a politician or a big, dirty energy company in a sticky situation? The Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN) may have a position for you!

CCAN is the first grassroots, nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to fighting global warming in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Our mission is to build and mobilize a powerful grassroots movement and use our proximity to the nation's capital to push for state, national and international policies that will put us on a path to climate stability. CCAN takes on the region's worst climate polluters and fights for the most effective clean energy policies.

CCAN is hiring an unpaid Fellow to obtain energy policy documents through Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) requests and analyze them. The fellow will analyze state level energy policy documents, searching for key information to support CCAN's clean energy campaigns, and brief campaign staff of their analysis.
